Health and Well-being

Health and well-being is extremely important to us at British airways. We are not only concerned with the health of our customers but also the well-being of our staff.

On-board

Our aim is to make our customers’ journey as safe and as comfortable as possible.
As part of this we play this well-being video designed to provide them with on-board exercises to enhance their comfort.

Fit to serve

In order to ensure that our colleagues are fully prepared to deliver the high quality service that our customers expect, we provide them with invaluable health advice and medical assessments. We also run an Early Active Rehabilitation Programme, which aims to help employees whose ill health prevents them from working and who are unable to receive timely treatment from other sources.

Annual well-being programme

We are not just concerned with health issues within the workplace but actively raise health awareness in the wider community. We participate in the Department of Health’s “Responsibility Deal” and promote health and well-being on a bigger scale by working in conjunction with various charities and government bodies to deliver on-going health promotion events. These events follow national campaigns and the government health agenda.
